Each short story is presented in an easily readable format and has a corresponding analytical entry in the database available via Search, allowing students and researchers to enhance their understanding by reading the story alongside criticism of it. The short stories can be found on the platform both by clicking on “Poems and Stories (Full Text)” in the Browse drop-down menu, and in search results under the Literary Works tab.
10,000+ New Timeline Entries
More than 10,000 new timeline entries have been added to Bloom’s browsable timelines, providing students and researchers with an even better, easily accessible reference tool with content they can trust. Compiled by scholars from a wealth of expertly researched and written proprietary sources, these new entries describe major life events and publication landmarks of hundreds of great authors, ranging from Aeschylus in ancient Greece to Alice Munro in contemporary North America. All timeline items can be found in Bloom’s Literature in search results under the Timeline tab.
