Library Senior Sales Executive - Higher Education

Description

The Library Senior Sales Executive/Business Development Executive (BDE) drives the Infobase Mission by increasing revenue from an existing client base while acquiring new customers within an assigned territory. The Library BDE identifies prospective accounts and builds, develops, and maintains relationships with decision makers to strengthen Infobase’s market position and close sales.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Achieve sales goals through direct daily communication with decision-makers and influencers, including Librarians, Library Directors, Procurement Directors who influence or procure Infobase software and services.
  • Effectively execute all key sales activities including email campaigns, telephonic outreach, presentations, demonstrations and proposals with key influencers and decision-makers meeting standard activity metrics.
  • Target, prospect, negotiate and close net new and cross-sell deals while consistently and effectively sharing the Infobase mission, vision and strategic growth objectives.
  • Lead-generation and professional follow-up using a sales contact/pitch platform, phone, Zoom meetings and/or in-person meetings.
  • Devise and execute strategy/business plan for evaluating and maximizing opportunities in assigned territory.
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge for all company product brands and services.
  • Consistently conduct product solution presentations and demonstrations
  • Daily CRM updating and reporting to accurately represent your pipeline of sales activity and opportunities along with strong data integrity commitment.
  • Effectively partner with your Customer Success Manager to support business continuity and renewal efforts.
  • Communicate, collaborate and work effectively with internal teams
  • Attend conferences and visit accounts on-site (up to 25% travel)

Skills and Experience:

  • A 4-year college degree
  • Proof of prior accomplishments, consistent quota achievement, collaboration and a love of sales
  • Highly skilled in professional written and oral communication skills
  • Proof of proficiency in consultative sales discussions, presentations and product demonstrations
  • Strong telephone, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in educational sales selling digital solutions with a subscription-based revenue model
  • Higher Education and/or Library Sales experience is beneficial
  • Proficiency in common business software tools, including Microsoft Office and contact management tools, CRM, Excel, Salesforce.com

Senior Sales Executive - Corporate

Description

Vault/Firsthand, an entity of Infobase Holdings, seeks an enthusiastic and business oriented Senior Sales Executive.

The Senior Sales Executive will be a hunter that applies a consultative-based sales methodology to achieve their quarterly and annual goals within one of Vault/Firsthand’s Banking, Accounting, Consulting and Internship verticals. This professional requires the ability to understand the importance of their client’s employer brand and the impacts of successful brand differentiation within Vault/Firsthand’s audience of elite, highly credentialed, in-demand professionals.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • This is a client-facing hunter sales role requiring law industry expertise and ability to develop new sales techniques at a fast rate
  • Build and execute on quarterly goals within assigned territory and book of business
  • Become an expert in Firsthand’s recruitment strategies and best practices for firms
  • Participate and drive sales efforts by phone, online demonstrations and face to face meetings
  • Grow new business with large and small law firms across the country
  • The BDE will work collaboratively with the Director of Sales on client facing and internal goals
  • The BDE will partner with Client Service team to maintain and build current client relationships

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Business-related degree preferred
  • 2–3 years of experience in sales
  • This job may be a best fit for candidates that are currently selling or have recently sold for media/marketing companies, technology companies, or working in corporate recruitment
  • The ideal candidate will have current or recent experience with a consultative sales process
  • Knowledge of employer branding and campus recruiting practices is a plus

Description

Infobase Holdings has an immediate opening for an experienced, motivated sales professional to sell educational reference subscription-based products, to the school and public library markets.  Products include: streaming video collections, online databases, and other digital media.

The Business Development Executive supports company objectives by increasing revenue from an existing client base while acquiring new customers within an assigned territory. The Business Development Executive identifies prospective accounts and builds, develops, and maintains relationships with decision makers to strengthen market position and increase company revenue. Preferred candidates will live in CST, MT, or PST.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Accomplish sales goals through direct daily communication with decision-makers, including librarians, media directors, technical staff and additional team members who influence or procure company products and services
  • Heavy phone and email communication as you prospect, grow, and manage an account list meeting revenue goal
  • Follow-up on leads via e-mail and telephone
  • Devise and execute strategy for evaluating and maximizing opportunities in an assigned territory
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge for all company brands and services
  • Ability to conduct product demonstrations over the phone and through webinars
  • Keep management informed of sales activity and opportunities
  • Update all account information in a CRM
  • Communicate and work effectively with other staff members

Description

This is a full-time position reporting to a Senior Director of Product. We are considering remote candidates based in the United States for this position.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensuring product roadmap features are consistently translated into well-defined product requirements
  • Drafting user stories with acceptance criteria for the next 2-3 prioritized sprints
  • Managing the product backlog items with product management and prioritizing them based on changing requirements
  • Participate in a team culture that drives alignment between cross-functional teams, including product management, design/user experience, engineering, content operations, enterprise systems, marketing, and customer service
  • Work in an Agile environment, continuously reviewing business needs, refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, and identifying opportunities and risks
  • Monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the process
  • Participating in Scrum meetings and product sprints
  • Facilitating sprint retrospectives with scrum team leader and product managers

Skills and Experience:

Software Engineer - Full Stack (.Net MVC and React) - CareerEco

Description

CareerEco, an entity of Infobase Holdings, is a virtual recruiting platform supporting thousands of organizations in providing Virtual Fairs and Online Recruiting events that allow jobseekers as well as students/alumni to connect with employers, grad schools, and other professional organizations.

We are looking to hire a C# .NET Software developer to join our team. This person will be designing and implementing new features, working with designers to implement UI improvements and maintaining the current codebase. They will also work directly with our support team to provide resolutions to client requests. This person will report to the CTO.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Create, maintain, and run unit tests for both new and as encountered pre-existing code, with a goal of delivering defect-free and well-tested code to QA
  • Translate design assets to functional systems and front-end code
  • Implement & optimize .NET server-side technologies
  • Debug software issues
  • Write and maintain documentation for new and encountered pre-existing feature
  • Collaborate with other engineers and contractors on project-related work

Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of particle experience in .NET projects: .NET, ASP.NET MVC
  •  5+ years development experience in front-end development using JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS or similar
  • Practical experience with developing, and maintaining both new and existing code, ranging from client-side development using JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, Bootstrap, to server-side code using C# and ASP.NET MVC, Web API, Windows services, and ADO.NET for data persistence and retrieval.
  • Full stack skill set is essential
  • Comfortable with OOP principles using typed languages (e.g. C#, TypeScript)
  • Experience with NodeJS
  • Practical experience with Umbraco or other .Net CMS platform
  • Experience working in large-scale applications with multiple business domains, especially with an understanding of Domain-driven design (DDD)
  • Experience working with version control systems (especially Git, but alternatively SVN)
  • Experience writing testable, maintainable code, extensible, testable code, while being mindful of performance requirements
